Email Newsletters:
Empower Parties uses email addresses for order and shipping confirmation and notices of sales. We do not share or make your email address available to any other organizations. If you no longer wish to receive our e-newsletter,  you can unsubscribe using the link provided at the bottom of each e-newsletter or email us a newsletter@empowerparties.com.
 
Cookies
 
 A cookie is a small data file that is stored by your web browser on your computer. Cookies enable you to place an order on our website, and they enable us to personalize your online shopping experience. For example, we use cookies to remember what items are in your shopping cart, recognize you when you return to www.empowerparties.com, and display products and information that are more relevant to you.
 
We also use an anonymous cookie that does not identify individual customers and which enables us to study how are customers navigate through our website so we can identify problems and implement  improvements designed to make using our website easier for customers. If you set your browser to refuse cookies, you may need to place an order via phone at 877-235-6559.

Empower Parties is committed to maintaining your security. Everytime an order is placed or account information is accessed, it is done through a secure server that encrypts all information.
 
Furthermore, all of the customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access and use at all times.  The secure server software we utilize incorporates state-of-the-art security protocol: Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).  SSL is used to encode all information, including credit card numbers, passwords, names, etc. This highly secure encryption makes it virtually impossible for anyone to ever see your information.
 
In order to confidently communicate and transact business on the Internet, businesses and individuals must be able to identify who they are dealing with, and assure themselves that information exchanged online is safe  from interception and alteration. In order to achieve this level of security, www.empowerparties.com also employs the use of digital certificates. Our Certificate Authority, Go Daddy, helps to establish the trust needed to make e-commerce work for every transaction, every communication, every time.
 
Merchandise Return Policy
 
Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not satisfied with any item, please call us within 30 days of purchase for a return authorization number. Refunds/exchanges do not apply to or include shipping and handling, except on merchandise that was damaged on arrival.
 
Items shipped from Empower Parties:
 All returns and exchanges require a return authorization number. If you need to return or exchange merchandise call us at 877-235-6559 or email us at customerservice@empowerparties.com. After you have your authorization number, write the return authorization number on the shipping label that is printed on the back of your packing slip.  Follow the directions on the back of your packing slip and use the pre-printed label, sending your return via UPS or Insured Mail to the address on the shipping label.   
 
Items shipped directly from the manufacturer:
Drop shipped items (which are noted on the packing list) must be returned directly to the manufacturer. Please call 877-235-6995 for a return authorization number and specific instructions, including the proper shipping address. Restrictions: We regret that personalized items, books and videos cannot be returned unless there is a defect in workmanship.

All shipments are fully insured, and damaged merchandise will be replaced promptly. If a package appears damaged at the time of delivery, you have the right to refuse it. If you discover damage after opening the package, do not dispose of the original shipping carton(s) or damaged merchandise as examination by the carrier's inspectors may be necessary.
 
UPS Shipments: Should damage occur in a UPS shipment, notify UPS immediately by calling 1-800-PICK-UPS, then contact Empower Parties by either phone or email.
 
USPS Shipments: If a Parcel Post package arrives damaged, have a local postal clerk verify the damage, then notify us.
 
Motor Freight Shipments: In a motor freight truck shipment, notify any visible damage on the Bill of Landing and notify the carrier immediately. Then contact Empower Parties as outlined above.
