Lisa has worked with clients in a wide variety of industries at some of the nation’s leading public relations firms. As a vice president at Golin/Harris International, Lisa planned media relations activities for Arlington County, Va., which led the 10-day rescue and recovery effort at the Pentagon following the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attack - developing strategy for the release of the After Action Report and leading media efforts for the one-year anniversary of 9/11.
Much of Lisa’s career was spent in Washington, D.C., where she served as communications director and spokesperson to members of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. Lisa also served as a Clinton administration appointee at the National Credit Union Administration. Prior to that, she was a reporter and producer at two National Public Radio affiliates and a freelance journalist.
Lisa earned her master’s degree in Public Communication from American University in Washington, D.C. She graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a bachelor’s degree in Government and Broadcasting. Lisa continues to serve Northwest on the Department of Mass Communication’s Professional Advisory Council. Continuing education includes certificate programs in Six Sigma Green Belt, Organizational Leadership, Business Analysis and Project Management from Villanova University.
