Claire Shumsky, MA, PCC Charter Coach    Claire Shumsky, M.A. is a Professional Certified Coach from The International Coach Federation.  She is also a certified Mentor Coach.  Claire studied with Dr. Martin Seligman, the Father of Positive Psychology.  She is also certified to work with adults with ADHD. Claire works with individuals and groups both personally and corporately to help her clients use their strengths to manage whatever issues they are presented with.  Claire’s previous training as a Psychotherapist aids her in assessing the best strategies for working with the whole person.  In these highly stressful economic times, focusing on what is good and how to make it better is one of her specialties.  She also helps women have more work/life balance. Claire has worked with Health Care Organizations, Educational Groups as well as Corporations. Claire attended the University of California Santa Barbara for her graduate training and taught at Santa Barbara City College.  She has given workshops, seminars and group coaching programs on dealing with generational differences. Claire loves to garden, cook, travel and does Pilates.  She is the mother of 3 sons and 2 golden retrievers.  Claire has been married to the same man for over 40 years.
